I bought this expecting a white shirt with button down collar like what's in the picture. There are no collar buttons so I'm pretty disappointed.
I really love the idea of these shirts being based around body types, but was it the shirt for me? Maybe not. I'm 168cm tall, B/W/H around 83/68/97. I can wear an XS or 13 1/2 size mens shirt, and it will fit me everywhere except the hips, where the buttons will be holding on for dear life and need to be covered by high-waisted pants or a jacket. As for the GFW shirt, this is Alex 1, the smallest size. My chest measurement is a lot smaller than even the lowest end of the size chart, but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway. It's quite roomy, which I guess is to be expected. The fabric feels pretty sturdy (it reminds me of the uniforms from when I worked at a certain grocery store) and it's really opaque. I'm wearing a black bra in these photos, but it isn't visible at all! However... when I got this shirt, I washed it, and it came out of the dryer pretty wrinkly, so I washed and dried it again, and it was still wrinkly! It needs to be ironed at a pretty high temperature. It's got some good points, so I'll see how it goes when I actually wear it a few times... also, shipping to Canada was quite fast, as most packages from England seem to be.
I’ve never in my life had a formal shirt fit me so well!!!! I can’t wait to go to my sisters wedding and surprise her with a suit that fits!!
