This privacy policy sets out how GFW uses and protects any information that you give GFW when you use this website. GFW is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. GFW may change this policy from time to time by updating this page.

You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.

GFW (Gender Free World) uses platforms external to GFW to manage our online store, mailing list and process payments for goods. We have ensured that all platforms and third party apps are compliant with current data and privacy laws and where necessary contact our customers if there is anything we need to make them aware of. GFW does not hold any of your data other than email addresses where you have contacted us directly. GFW does have access to some of your data as outlined below.

Who we contact

We only contact individuals who specifically request that we do so or in the event that they have signed up to receive our offers, sales, promotions, newsletters, flyers, or have purchased one of our products.

What information we have access to. 

The platforms we use to manage our e-commerce store and process payments, collect information for the purpose of fulfilling these roles. 

They collect information such as:

•  name, contact information including; email address, postal address and telephone number where provided.
• payment processing uses information such as your banking information in conjunction with your name, billing address, ip address. this information is encrypted and GFW can only view the ip address of where the order was placed to make an informed decision about how to proceed in cases where a risk of fraud is highlighted by our payment processors. 
• Payments are powered by Paypal and by Stripe.

In advertising and promotion GFW has access to information such as order history, interaction history, location, referring websites where the customer may have arrived on our site via a search or a link from another website. This information is sometimes aggregated to create a targeted marketing campaign. 

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). The information generated by the cookie about your use of our website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of our website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. All such information is strictly protected and used only for delivering the content and products the user has signed up for or purchased. This information is NEVER used for other purposes and is NEVER shared with 3rd parties for their own use.

What we do with the information we can access?

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

• We may use the information to improve our products and services.

• We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information which we think you may find interesting using the email address which you have provided.

Controlling your personal information

You may choose to restrict the collection or use of your personal information in the following ways:

• whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, don't provide any information.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so. We will not use your personal information to send you promotional information about third parties.

Request and Removal

You are at any time entitled to request or remove any data we have access to pertaining to you. We will action this request within 30 days. We cannot remove details in cases where: 1. They are associated with an order which is pending or associated with an order placed less than 180 days before the request (this is the time in which it can still be charged back).

- notice about testimonials: testimonials are all true, reflect the opinions and experiences of real users of GFW's products. If you would like to submit a testimonial to GFW you agree that it becomes the exclusive property of GFW, which for example includes the rights to reproduce, edit (for length but not general content), and/or publish the testimonial, which may include your name or initials and city/state/country of residence. Some customers that have submitted testimonials may have received a GFW product or service as a "thank you" in appreciation for the time they invested to write or record their testimonials. The terms, as we may revise them from time to time, shall remain in full force and effect while you use the site features. We may terminate your account or these terms at any time, for any or no reason, with or without prior notice or explanation, and without liability. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products that appear at the store. We cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at anytime without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited.

We do not warrant that the quality of any products, services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations.

 
Billing and account information

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

GFW does not claim any ownership rights in the text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, musical works, works of authorship, applications, or any other materials (collectively, “content”) that you post on the site (if applicable). After posting your content to the site, you continue to retain any such rights that you may have in your content, subject to the limited license herein. The site may contain content of users and other licensors. By displaying, publishing content on the site, or otherwise submitting content to us, including without limitation, submitting content to us via third party social media platforms, you hereby grant to GFW an irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, modify, delete from, add to, create derivative works of, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce and distribute (and to sublicense the foregoing rights through multiple tiers of licensees) such content on or through the site.

You represent and warrant that: (i) you own the content posted by you on or through the site or otherwise have the right to grant the licenses set forth above, and (ii) the posting of your content on or through the site does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, contract rights, intellectual property or any other rights of any person or entity. You agree to be fully responsible for and to pay any and all royalties, fees, and any other monies owing any person or entity by reason of any content posted by you.

We assume no responsibility for monitoring the site for inappropriate content or conduct. If at any time GFW chooses, in its sole discretion, to monitor the site, we nonetheless assume no responsibility for the content, no obligation to modify or remove any inappropriate content, and no responsibility for the conduct of the user submitting any such content.

Limitations of our liability

In no event shall we be liable for any damage, claim or loss incurred by you, including without limitation compensatory, incidental, direct, indirect, special, consequential or exemplary damages, irrespective of whether we have been informed of, knew of, or should have known of the likelihood of such damages. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GFW, its subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their respective officers, agents, partners and employees, harmless from any loss, liability, cost, expense, claim, or demand, including without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees, due or relating to or arising out of your use of the site in violation of the terms and/or arising from a breach of the terms and/or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth in the terms and/or arising out of or relating to any content that you post.
 
The terms will be construed, and their performance enforced, under the laws of Great Britain without reference to choice of law principles. The united nations convention on contracts for the international sale of goods does not apply to the terms. We may assign the terms, in whole or in part, to a related entity or to a third party.

Each of the parties hereby knowingly, voluntarily and intentionally waives any right it may have to a trial by jury in respect of any litigation (including but not limited to any claims, counterclaims, cross-claims, or third party claims) arising out of, under or in connection with this agreement. Further, each party hereto certifies that no representative or agent of either party has represented, expressly or otherwise, that such party would not in the event of such litigation, seek to enforce this waiver of right to jury trial provision. Each of the parties acknowledges that this section is a material inducement for the other party entering into the terms.

The terms are accepted upon your use of the site or any of its features and is further affirmed upon you becoming a registered user (if applicable). The terms constitute the entire agreement between you and GFW regarding the use of site and its services and features. The failure of GFW to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the terms shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. The section titles in the terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect. The terms operate to the fullest extent permissible by law. If any provision of the terms is unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision is deemed severable from the terms and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions.
